What that means

Where you’ll see this

Our Guides section is where this shows up most, and will become more relevant as that section grows. We use a service called Stay22 to power hotel and map recommendations tied to specific places we write about. Stay22 links are affiliate links.

Our standard

We only recommend places, products, and services we’ve actually used or would use ourselves. If we haven’t tried something, we’ll say so. Commission never decides what gets recommended. The writing and the experience come first, and the affiliate relationship is just how some of it gets paid for.
